THE HOLISTIC THERAPIST

Several years ago, I had reached my peak as a therapist. 

I had reached–what I was taught was–the traditional "pinnacle" of what it means to be a therapist. But I was feeling the call for more. 

During this time I was also experiencing depression and burnout, spiritual disconnection, and isolation. I was compartmentalizing myself. 

It wasn't until I began to take a holistic approach to my own healing journey that things started to shift. I began integrating holistic healing practices like yoga, breathwork, sound healing, and affirmations, into my mental health and healing journey...realizing all layers of myself (my physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and communal layers) needed tending to. I began to experience true healing, happiness, and freedom, it became clear that ALL layers of us are essential components of healing.

From this newfound awareness, I started to shift the way I work as a therapist, and how I approached my business. I started creating offerings that integrated my years of training and practice in therapy, WITH holistic modalities.

I created my signature course: The Holistic Therapist Academy, where I teach other therapists and healers how to ethically integrate trauma-informed yoga breathwork, energy and sound healing into their work, and create a holistic-centered practice.

But before then, I created affirmation decks, had health coaching containers for women to prioritize their self care...in addition to owning a yoga studio and school AND a group private practice.

Using all of the wisdom and experience I've gained from the years of being an entrepreneur and therapist, and honoring my many passions for over a decade, I now have the honor of working with other women who help, heal, and lead, to help them create lives and businesses that are in balance, joyful, and offer them freedom while creating impact in their communities.

By expanding beyond the traditional career path of a therapist, and stepping into my full creativity and skill sets as a practitioner and entrepreneur, I was able to experience a freedom that I never experienced before. I had more time, energy, and ability to do the things that light me up, and prioritize my own mental health and self care.

I had increased my impact and my income, while having a greater capacity to truly enjoy the life I had created.

As holistic practitioners, we are in a unique position where we have a broader skill set than most therapists. We can not only use that skill set within our communities, but also to expand our businesses in ways that are aligned with our authentic purpose as healers. We can increase our impact, step into full creative expression, and live well in the process.

Healers, there are no limits to what we can create, or the joy and wellbeing we can experience through our work. I am excited to embark on this journey with you of holistic, embodied expansion through business.
